There is a new add-on for World Wind now, released from Maplecroft.  These maps are part of a global map series the company produces.

These analyze a wide range of environmental, social, economic and political issues that impact on business and society around the world.

The maps you can download include the following:

• Global map of energy security
• Global map of greenhouse gas emissions 2006
• Global map of HIV/AIDS 2006

This looks like it can be a very useful series of maps, especially for educators.
