Back From the USG World Wind Workshop
Written by Chad on April 30th, 2009Spent almost as long driving as I did being there[1] o.0 Tired, but not in a “Going to pass out asleep” kind of way. It was great to finally meet most of the World Wind team, even if it did take Patrick Hogan a few moments to realize just who I was
Sat next to nigel_ht and talked on and off the whole day.
Interesting to see how many governmental readers I have… guess I better not badmouth anyone since they read my posts
I have five pages of notes to go through before I post my roundup.. and I want to be a little more rested before writing in detail.
But it was a great workshop, it got people together that work with WW, it showed that there needs to be more interaction so that duplication of efforts can be reduced. And I think the next workshop will probably be even larger (Will be 2 a year or 4 a year.. that is the current goal).
[1] Bloody GPS decided to skip 695 and decided I wanted to go through downtown Baltimore… I was concentrating too much on the traffic and was too late to get the exit I really wanted…. have I mentioned lately I don’t like city traffic much?
